Program

We will together create and perform music, drama, song and dance inspired by our conversations and reflections. There will also be some time for sports and activities and there will be delicious food served.

FOR YOUTH 15-30 YEARS:

We will examine and understand the current situation of the world, and explore how we can contribute significantly to building a more just, sustainable and prosperous future for all through some of the following themes, as well as others:

  • What is a practitioner of peace?

  • What principles and values can help humanity create a refuge where everyone feels safe?

  • How do we view the world today and in 10 years time?

  • How does the crisis of the world affect us?

  • How can youth contribute to the betterment of society?

  • Positive and negative forces in our environment

  • Factors that affect our choices in life

  • Our human nature

  • Our free will as a source of hope

There will also be opportunity to reflect on the spiritual dynamics of growth of an individual and how this is linked to advancement on a path of service.

FOR JUNIOR YOUTH AGE 11-14:

The program for the junior youth at the conference is tailored to their eagerness to learn about the world and the universe and their desire to contribute to create a better world:

  • They will be in groups of friends with whom they can share their thoughts and learn to articulate how they want to see the world change.

  • They will work on projects, play sports, and use the arts like music, drama, dance etc.

  • They will reflect on concepts fundamental to a purposeful life, like happiness, hope and friendship and how they find expression in everyday life and become agents of positive change.

  • They will also interact with the older youth throughout the conference and this brings all age groups much joy!

Every soul can contribute a share of what humanity needs in this day… Extend then to everyone the hand of friendship, of common endeavour, of shared service, of collective learning, and advance as one.
